1. General Settings
Configure core store branding, regulatory compliance, and search engine optimization.
Capabilities:
- Basic Store Information: Set your store title, contact email, telephone number, physical store address, and copyright text.
- Brand Assets: Upload your primary Light Logo, Dark Logo, Favicon, and Preloader animation graphics.
- Maintenance Mode: Take the customer storefront offline with a custom maintenance announcement while maintaining unrestricted administrative dashboard access.
- Store Feature Toggles: Activate or deactivate modules with a single switch (e.g., Google reCAPTCHA, Announcement Popup, Cookie Consent Banner).
- Cookie Consent Banner (GDPR): Display a customizable privacy cookie notice across the storefront to comply with international regulations.
- Global Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Define default meta titles, meta descriptions, search keywords, and OpenGraph social sharing images.
- Custom Scripts & Tracking: Safely insert tracking scripts (such as Google Analytics 4, Facebook Pixel, or live chat widgets) directly into the page header or footer without touching core theme files.
2. Payment Gateways & Currency Settings
OmniMart supports both automated digital payment processors and manual payment methods out of the box.

Gateway Configuration Controls:
- Status Toggle: Enable or disable individual payment gateways at any time.
- Environment Selector: Toggle between Sandbox / Test Mode (for checkout testing) and Live / Production Mode with a single click.
- API Credentials: Simply paste your Public / Secret API Keys directly into the admin panel.
Multi-Currency Management:
- Add unlimited currencies with custom ISO currency codes and symbols.
- Set currency symbol placement (Left like
$100or Right like100 €). - Set live exchange rates relative to your base store currency.
- Customize decimal and thousand formatting separators.
3. Shipping Services & Tax Settings
Ensure accurate delivery pricing and statutory tax collection for every order:
Shipping Services:
- Create custom shipping services (such as Standard Shipping, Express Courier, or Free Shipping).
- Configure flat shipping prices or free delivery thresholds.
Tax Configuration:
- Set global default tax rates or state-specific tax rates.
- Configure tax inclusion/exclusion based on the buyer's shipping address.
4. Email & SMTP Configuration
Ensure reliable delivery of customer order receipts, password resets, and support notifications.
SMTP Server Settings:
- Configure your SMTP host, port, security encryption (TLS or SSL), username, password, sender name, and sender email.
- Gmail SMTP Integration: If using Gmail, generate a 16-character Google App Password (see the video tutorial above) and use
smtp.gmail.comon port587.
Customizable Email Templates:
- Modify transactional notification templates for every key store milestone:
- Order Confirmation & Invoice Receipt
- Order Status Updates (Processing, Delivered, Declined)
- Account Password Reset

- Use dynamic placeholders (e.g.,
{customer_name},{order_number},{order_total}) to personalize emails automatically.
5. SMS Gateway Settings (Twilio)
Send instant SMS text notifications to customers when their orders are placed or shipped:
- Enter your Twilio Account SID, Auth Token, and Twilio Sender Phone Number.
- Toggle automated customer order SMS alerts on or off.
6. Multi-Language & RTL Management
Tailor your eCommerce store for domestic and international shoppers alike:
In-Browser Translation Manager:
- Add unlimited languages to your store.
- Use the visual translation interface to edit every single phrase on the public storefront and administrative panel directly from your browser—no code editing required.
Full Right-to-Left (RTL) Support:
- Toggle the RTL Script Direction switch for languages written right-to-left (such as Arabic, Hebrew, Urdu, or Persian). The entire storefront layout automatically mirrors to provide a native reading experience.
7. XML Sitemap Generator
Generate, update, and download XML sitemaps directly from the dashboard to submit to Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and other search engines for rapid indexing of your products, categories, and blog posts.
